Q: My check engine light is on, how much will you charge to fix this?
A: Check engine lights can indicate a large array of different issues, the first step is to scan for fault codes, then proceed with further testing if necessary to determine what repairs are required.

Q: Why do you charge to diagnose check engine lights and other driveability issues?
A: In order to provide dealer level diagnostics and programming, we have to invest in equipment, software updates, and require our technicians to be trained on the latest technology. Also, a free or cheap diagnosis by a shop that is not equipped to handle your German vehicle can lead to an incorrect diagnosis and unnecessary repairs that will cost you more in the end.

Q: The service indicator on my car is on; can you perform the Inspection II or B Service and reset the light off when you service my car?
A: We have the capability to reset your service indicator, and we can perform the same manufacturer recommended service that you would get at the dealership.

Q: What kind of warranty am I getting with my repair?
A: We provide a 24 month, 18,000 mile warranty (whichever occurs first) to protect you against defective parts.

Q: Am I still getting the same quality parts that I would get at the dealership?
A: We use only the highest quality OEM and genuine parts available, while providing a warranty that exceeds nearly all dealerships and independent shops.

Q: I bought some parts online, how much will you charge to install them?
A: We will only install parts we have purchased from our own suppliers so that we can provide you with a thorough warranty, and be assured that only the best parts are installed on your vehicle.

Q: Are you open on Saturdays?
A: No, we are not open on Saturdays. There are several reasons behind our decision to close on Saturdays. First, all of our technicians and employees have families and like to spend time with their loved ones. At Group One Motorwerks we are of the firm belief that our kids are only young once, and we need to spend as much time with them as we can while they are growing up. Also, we do not believe that you want to spend your day off in our waiting area while your vehicle is being serviced or repaired. We have a complimentary shuttle service available during the week. Doesn't it truly work out better for you if you drop your vehicle off for service, we give you a ride to work, repair your vehicle while you're at work, and then give you a ride back to pick it up when the work is completed? We believe that this ultimately gives you more free time with your family on the weekends as well. Sure beats sitting in a waiting room while your vehicle is being worked on doesn't it?
