Group One Motorwerks is Tucson's premier Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Mini and Smart car repair and maintenance specialists. The company was established in 2005 after previously operating as Fred's Import Service for 22 years, as Tucson's original BMW only repair shop.
Upon Fred's retirement in 2005, we changed our name to Group One Motorwerks. The company then expanded our vehicle line to include Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. We later added the Mini and Smart car brands.
Group One is a family owned and operated repair and maintenance shop. The owner, Bart Lind, is a Master Technician with nearly 20 years of experience with European luxury vehicles. We employ factory trained technicians which allows our staff to achieve dealer level abilities for coding, programming and diagnostics for today's high tech vehicles. We have manufacturer specific tooling to achieve dealer level and beyond coding, programming and diagnostic testing. Our staff has over 60 years combined experience, making us the most qualified German automotive specialists in Tucson. We employ the only Mercedes-Benz advanced level trouble-shooter in Southern Arizona, with many years of experience working for Mercedes-Benz in the UK, and training dealer technicians.
You will benefit from knowing that we stand behind our work. We use only OEM or genuine factory parts backed up by a 24 month, 18,000 mile warranty that exceeds the local independent competitors in Tucson, as well as many dealerships.
In an effort to keep Tucson a great place to live for future generations, we have implemented responsible environmental practices. Many used fluids such as engine oil and coolant are sent for recycling or for other industrial uses. We also recycle common materials such as plastics and cardboard. Currently we are working toward becoming a certified "green" auto repair and maintenance shop.
